Dopo aver partecipato alla serata del Carnevale Ambrosiano di Milano in Piazza Duomo con Arturo Brachetti, i Denimor tornato ad esibirsi a Torino e lo fanno per un’occasione speciale: Sabato 3 Aprile ci sarà infatti il release party per il loro primo EP “Almost Fabulous” (edizione limitata e numerata): non perdetevi l’opportunità di acquistare una copia a prezzo ridotto del loro EP in occasione di questa serata!!

Titor EP on Komakino
Sabino Pace (Belli Cosi, I Treni all’Alba), Azza (Distruzione), Sandro Serra (Distruzione, Dead Elephant) e Francesco Vittori (Sickhead), – questi nomi magari non Vi dicono un tubo, ma se siete afecionados della scena HC underground di Torino e dinorni, – specie la nichia anni 90 e inizio 2000, – non Vi suoneranno nuovi o novizi.
Insieme hanno formato i Titor un paio o più di anni fa; – personalmente direi che hanno un sound che richiama un pò quello che erano i Belli Cosi, per quanto manchi qui la natura hard-core degli stessi, – però c’è Sabino, – il Suo cantato nichilista e incazzato fa anche qui ribollire il sangue del gruppo (‘mi fa male la testa | mi fa male la testa | mi fa male la testa | mi fa male la testa’, – urla canta), come a cavalcare la veloce onda sonora delle chitarre hard-rock in acido, e la batteria picchiaduro.
Testi in italiano, malessere del vivere, – una personale lettura amara della leggenda internet del crononauta John Titor direttamente dal 2036, – queste quattro tracce sono quattro schegge, – violento alternative rock and roll, per certo godibile, specialmente in un contesto live, come immagino, – tanto sono guidate da una genuina adrenalina.
Non il disco che magari stavate aspettando, ma cmq un autentico pugno in faccia.

Behind The Screen, opening band for “They Come In Shoals” Tour @ Lapsus 25/02/2010
Giovedi 25/2 al Lapsus arriva un quartetto direttamente dalla Avocado Booking, ovvero i War From A Harlots Mouth , insieme a Arsonists Get All The Girls, Salt The Wound e A Plea For Purging.
Ad aprire il concerto ci saranno i nostrani Behind The Screen , direttamente dalla Valle d’Aosta.
Ricordiamo che al biglietto d’ingresso di 12 € bisognerà abbinare la tessera Fitel 2010, che invece di 10 € costerà 5€

Presentazione debut album “Dark Horses”

Nati nel 2006 a Biella, Italia. Gli OnlyForUs suonano Hardcore/Rock ispirandosi a band come Every Time I Die, Cancer Bats, The Warriors. Registrata la prima demo nel marzo del 2007, nel 2008 un brano viene scelto da Dracma Records per la compilation “Nightpieces vol.5″. Nel febbraio 2009 viene realizzato un EP autoprodotto di 3 canzoni, registrato, mixato e prodotto da Matteo “Ciube” Tabacco (bassista dei Dufresne). Nel novembre del 2009 le registrazioni dell’album di debutto “DARK HORSES”, ancora sotto la guida di Matteo Tabacco presso il Raptor Studio di Vicenza, portano alla firma con Myphonic Records. Il full length “DARK HORSES” è disponibile dal 15 febbraio 2010 su i-Tunes, Spotify, Amazonmp3, in vendita ai concerti e negli store della label. “It all started this summer.. we were demoing new songs, and soon, after one week of studio we realized that a new product was done.. so why did we have to wait?
It sounds darker than our previous one, it’s even more emotional, and it’s so raw…
exactly what we were looking for.
Maybe it won’t be a revolutionary piece of the rock history, but it’s our cast-iron contribution to the valuable independent scene.”We proudly made this album in 7 days, looking back to our recent past but with the impetus of moving quick and forward, being well anchored to our breakup and unconventional style that we simply define rock. for these reasons we want to say “thank you” to the people involved in this release (you know who you are). And thanks to you, for having this cd in your hands and reading these lines. This is our small contribution to the fast growing independent scene. In our name it’s written we profoundly decline what we don’t belong to in this keen competition of appearance and standardization, but we strongly preserve the aim to transfer only positive thinking and reliable heat.
